Uruguay es muy guay

ESP

Simplemente me he sentido super cómodo aquí.

Go to visit Uruguay!

I was almost hoping to have the time here that I finally had, ending in a beautiful stay and an even better little but still great (Christmas) party in Montevideo.

Before, La Paloma offered a great housing (Araza hostel run by a nice local couple), some perfect small wave surfing, sun and almost a daily asado. But what was much more impressing here were the people. On the one hand there were the always relaxed locals, that will be hardly seen without their Mate and the hot water supply in the Thermo. But on the other hand also the travellers around here were a real pleasure. While in other places, I would try to avoid "the others" it was just nice to hang out with those individuals here and have long talks, listen to NZ Ukulele, play voley and so on..

There is much more to say, but I will leave it to this few lines and the few photos. The rest, you should discover yourself.

Tomorrow I am going to Buenos Aires and on Jan 1st the plan is to give the travel almost a U-turn, flying over the Pacific to New Zealand.
